As Erasmus-students we had started living in a new country, meeting new people and
observing new places.
We were far from our common life. We have started speaking
about globalization and
our possible role as artists in it.
How can we do projects with
social behaviour? Can artists make the world better? Is art for that at all?
Later our attention focused into our problems and questions. This change has
shown us
that we are closed into our personal world and we are far from everything else
including
doing something against it. Do we really want to do something?
In the video the screen is devided into two parts: each side shows a different point of view,
a different life. The left side belongs to Kata Mesterhazy, the right side belongs to me.
It is a symbolic communication between us and a comparison of our status as well.
